MATCONS is the biennial conference of the community of conservators, restorers and mobil and immovable cultural heritage researchers. With an international perspective, MATCONS 2019 focuses on the role and responsibilities of the conservator in the application of scientific research in the field and the direct use of results on the treatment and analysis of cultural heritage, application and improvement of methods of intervention in conservation practice.
The main topics of the Conference were materials and materials, techniques and technologies for preservation and restoration.
